World Intellectual Property Day
To celebrate World Intellectual Property Day 2012, (which is April 26) the clever boffins at the IPO have created a shortlist of some of the most well known and successful contemporary British ‘Visionary Innovators’ and they want you to vote for your favourite. Have a look at who has made it on the list and cast a vote for the cracking creator who tops your innovation poll.
The list contains famous names from the world of television, music, art, design, business and science, all of whom have achieved considerable success or displayed ‘visionary’ behaviour in spotting ‘the next big thing’, or developed innovative products, services or designs never seen before.
Is your top innovator Sir James Dyson or Banksy; Simon Cowell or JK Rowling? There are a variety of cracking creators and talents incorporated on the list but it is by no means exhaustive. If it doesn’t feature the one person you feel most worthy of your vote then you can opt to add your own favourite instead.
Votes can be cast from now until Tuesday 24 April at 17:00.
The top visionary innovator with the most votes will be announced on World Intellectual Property Day 2012 as part of the cracking celebrations.
What are you waiting for? Get voting!
Note: Wallace & Gromit didn’t make the cut and aren’t on the list … If you think that’s wrong you know what to do!
