Once you have worked your way through the 8 activities you're idea will be complete and ready to be entered into The World of Cracking Ideas competition!

Teachers and club leaders, why not get a group to work through these activities and enter the competition? The packs can also be done as a school project - there are National Curriculum links on each sheet. There are also handy hints about Intellectual Property and protecting any Cracking Ideas.

8 - 11 Year Olds

Can't think of an idea? There are lots of helpful tips in this pack - you can work through it on your own or with a friend or family member. You will be shown lots of ways to think of a new idea and develop this into a real innovation. All you need is a pencil!

Maybe you belong to a group like the Brownies or Cubs that would like to have a go together!

12 - 16 Year Olds

Can't think of an idea? There are lots of helpful tips in this pack - you can work through it on your own or with a friend or family member. You can try out methods used by real designers and inventors to come up with a real innovation. All you need is a pencil!
